Past and present blend into a unique style

ASTRA ash kitchens are born from a love of the colours and reassuring nuances of wood stained with natural pigments. Past and present blend in a unique style, rich in flavor and emotion, for tailored compositions that perfectly express traditional craftsmanship.
The key feature of the IMPERO project is the innovative design of its front, featuring a 23 mm thick solid wood frame, with a recessed handle for opening the door. It's a minimalist, rigorous, yet highly functional design element.

Inspired by Calacatta marble, the Dekton Entzo countertop is characterized by the realism and naturalness of its random golden veining, which enhances the project. This color has another feature that has won over the public: its ability to reflect light and create a brighter space.

Such exclusive beauty deserved the sink integrated directly into the worktop, for material continuity across the entire surface of the countertop, including the backsplash in the wall behind the hob to protect it from splashes and steam.

Passion for details

Characteristic elements such as the upper and lower frames or the expertly shaped plinths in the dyed wood veneer express energetic details and convey a sense of warmth and positivity in the home. Thanks to their harmonious forms, they exude a strength reminiscent of the elegant yet understated homes of the past.
The sharp detailing softens the edges; a sort of "domestic revolution" marked by solid wood furnishings with soft lines. There is no form without content, no design without material: ASTRA uses only wood sourced from eco-friendly areas with controlled reforestation, fully respecting the environment.

Authenticity, matter, character

Solid wood has always held a unique and timeless appeal, perfectly adapting to any home style, even those with decidedly more modern lines.
Choosing a kitchen with a real wood frame means being able to select truly original finishes and shades. Thanks to the skilled hands of highly trained craftsmen, this material can become a unique element, capable of emphasizing every detail of a kitchen or part of it.

Compact yet functional, the small snack counter optimizes kitchen space.

In the contemporary kitchen, especially in urban apartments or compact open-plan spaces, the small snack bar represents an extremely effective design solution. It doesn't replace the traditional table, but rather complements it, offering an additional surface for quick meals, breakfasts, or informal workspaces.
Its strength lies precisely in its compact size: a few well-designed centimeters can significantly improve the usability of the space without weighing down the overall composition.
The round snack bar is a solution that breaks the mold, establishing itself as a bold alternative to the rigidity of square or rectangular formats. Its circular shape lends fluidity and stands out as a dynamic and welcoming element in the center of the kitchen.

Glass to lighten the composition

Bronzed or clear glass with a ribbed effect, as in this proposal, has a significant aesthetic impact in the large display cabinets of the Impero kitchen. This not only applies when they consist of a series of adjacent cabinets, but also when they are a simple row of wall units or even base units, as in the detail shown.
The kitchen with a display cabinet creates an effect of variety and movement in the composition, interrupting its material continuity to make room for transparent elements that lighten the visual impact.
In the display cabinet, objects appear as pure silhouettes or remain fully visible, symbolizing two different ways of understanding the kitchen: tidy and rational or warm and lived-in. ASTRA Cucine allows the display cabinet compartment to be customized with a wide range of finishes, including wood, as in this proposal.

Embassy Hood

Inserted inside the cooking portal, the Embassy hood allows for effective fume extraction and, thanks to its pigmented ash beam, guarantees an aesthetic in harmony with the style of the Empire kitchen.
